|||||||||
Price Llewellyn Jones was born in 1888 and became a carpenter. He enlisted in the Royal Engineers on 24th May 1915 at the age of 27. We currently know nothing about where he served but is reported to have died on 28th September 1919 aged 33. He is buried in Shrewsbury General Cemetery (Grave reference: 197.16.B). There were military hospitals in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area during both World Wars. It is probable that Price Llewellyn Jones had been wounded and returned to one of these hospitals so as to be near his family. There are 125 burials from the First World War in the Shrewsbury General Cemetery, most of whom probably died in local hospitals. |
